RRB ALP Syllabus 2018 Overview:

Railway Recruitment Board Assistant Loco Pilot ie., RRB ALP Syllabus 2018 is different for first stage CBT, second stage CBT (Part A and Part B), and aptitude test. In RRB ALP second stage CBT, candidates will have to attend two sections - Part A and Part B. RRB ALP second stage CBT Part A syllabus is common for all posts ie., trade. Whereas the syllabus for Part B is different for different Trades like Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Pattern Maker, Utility Operator and more.
 
Applicants of RRB Technician posts will have to appear in first stage and second stage CBT. RRB Technician Syllabus 2018 is also different for 1st & 2nd stage CBT (Computer Based Test). Quick Review of RRB ALP 2018 First Stage CBT Exam pattern:

Exam pattern of 1st Stage CBT is common for RRB ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) and Technician posts. Totally 75 objective type questions will be asked from 4 main sections - Mathematics, General intelligence and Reasoning, General science, General awareness on current affairs. Total duration for RRB ALP, Technician 1st stage CBT is 1 hour (60 mins). For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.

RRB ALP 2018 Second Stage CBT Exam pattern:

RRB ALP, Technician Second Stage CBT consists of two parts - Part A and Part B. Part Aexam pattern is same for all trades. It consists of 100 multiple-choice objective type questions [bilingual (Hindi/English)] from 4 sections which are mentioned in the following table. For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.
 
Part B is qualifying in nature and comprises 75 objective type questions from the trade syllabus prescribed by Director General of Employment & Training (DGET).
