Finance Ministry is likely to notify by the first week of April new income tax return ITR forms for assessment year 2016-17.

They will be similar to the one filed by assesses last year.
Income Tax Department in June brought out simplified tax return form for salaried class, which had a space for IFSC code of bank for refund to be credited.
Income Tax Department also sought Aadhaar numbers.
